"Fit as a fiddle you say. Mhmm does the fiddle need tuning?" She laughed softly. As the scans started she began reading them. After a few minutes she smiled and made the proper notations.
"So far the fiddle is quite fit. See that machine will ya get it on it I need to get some stress readings."
OCC: It was a standard stress machine designed to check the bio readings when the body has demands made on it.

She watches him, "Considers hes a canine race she says 10 mins should do it. Normally canine races will function at top speed as you doing now for that time period. Before the body demands to slow down."

"Excellent." Looking at the readings she smiles.
"Well now, Lt jg Buford B Hound, your cleared for duty. When we have the consular on board your be needing a clearance from them. Have a grand day." As she left the examination room her head was down as she gave the report one last look.

She went to her office and filed the report on Buford. Then she accessed Lt Saia's service record, scanning it briefly, then looking at the image of her. She wanted to be sure her reaction was proper and not filled with surprise. Picking up her padd she walked the distance to examination room 3. Gently knocking on the door to announce her presence, she opened the door.
"Good morning Lt. How are this fine day? Thank you for your promptness." She crossed the room and stood in front of the Lt.

"This fine day?" She questioned, cocking her head. There were times when the idiosyncrasies of language took some time to learn. "I am fine Doctor MacAuley but I suppose I am here to allow you to find that out for yourself" Her antennae waved a little in amusement.

"Aye this fine day. Its a touch from home. Meaning the weather is fair, the outlook is good. Aye, I suppose you could say that your allowing me to see if you are truly well."
"I will be needing to ask you some questions. I am totally unfamiliar with your race and there was little in Star Fleet records. I have sworn an oath that everything and anything a patient tells me is to be in strict confidence, unless that would place the ship and those on it in peril."
"Now thats done with, tell me have you any allergies? And how does your race experience them?"

"No allergic reactions as a race, though some individuals have been known to develop sensitivities when overexposed to certain elements or energies. I have no such sensitivities currently." She smiled. "But in racial terms I am also very young."

Nods, "So you are unaware of how you may react to a sensitivity of that nature? And for my education, in terms as child, teenager, young adult, adult, where might you be found?"

"It would depend on the element and the length of exposure. I have seen one who's chitin became brittle and broke and another who developed cataracts. Both were correctable but exposure thereafter had to be very limited."
"I suppose I would be considered a young adult by your standards. Fully developed but not yet fully mature." She smiled again.

Nods at the answer she hears. Personal questions were never the type she enjoyed but they at times were necessary. "Are you able to reproduce, and if so are there any special considerations I should be aware of? For instance, must you return home at a certain time of the yr or number of years. Would you require a nest or are you capable of carrying your own? Knowing this now will ensure when the time comes you will have everything you need."
