"Aye , sir. Monitoring Warp Variables as soon as we are underway."
Once Warp 7 was engaged, Samek began going over live diagnostic results, noting multiple variables were exactly where they should be, except for the efficency. It had seemed a new program he had installed was doing it's job. Himself and Captain Harsting had worked heavily on this efficency program since they both had come aboard.
"Captain Harsting. The Efficiency Program is active and correctly regulating the anti-matter/matter Core Reaction. Efficency is currently 1.2% above nominal specification." He paused for a moment, turning then to Lieutenant Hound. "Lieutenant, please engage Slipstream Drive at Transwarp 16."
He went back to his monitor, ready to act incase of a problem once Slipstream was engaged.

Jim smiled slightly as the ship went into Slipstream.
"Mr. Grabfoot, please setup a subspace relay between here and the Zeta Raphadon Communication Probe and use it's onboard subspace scanners to scan the surrounding systems. Make the information available for Ops and Science."
He stood. "Mr Kinsely, setup a briefing in the Observation Lounge whenever everything is ready. I'll be in my Ready Room. You have the bridge." He said as he started heading towards his Ready Room.

He stood there, monitoring Tactical systems as the Terrasect got under way, moving from Impulse speed, then to warp and then made the jump into transwarp. He watched as space changed around them as they broke each barrier with little effort
He heard Lt Samek state that everything was working within normal parameters to Captain Harsting and Lt Hound. An ears and an eye perked toward Captain Harsting as he called his name and instructed him to prepare and setup a subspace relay between here and the Zeta Raphadon Communication Probe
He began tapping keys on his tactical board, beginning preparations "Yess, Ssir. It will take a moment to set up"
After a couple moments, he commented "It is ready and I have instructed the probe to send what information it recieves to the Ops and Science stations"

Ops, confirm disconnect from Starbase.
Ganesa heard her orders to confirm disconnection from Starbase. "Yes, sir.", she said to him. Her hands went across the console once she tried to contact SB to confirm the disconnect. She say that they were disconnected from the Starbase.
"We are disconnected from the Starbase, sir.", she reported as ordered.
Once she finished reporting the disconnect, she felt the ship move into the slip stream. Ganesa watched the on going systems on her ops control. It looked like a breeze when she watched the different communications and other systems on her console. Finnially, she was on her first mission on USS Terresect. The feeling felt pretty good. She would see why everyone was so excited on each new mission.
Ganesa, for a moment, looked up at the viewscreen to look at the view. She looked back down to her console and saw the information about the probe and what information it was sending to her console. She found nothing, yet, unusal.

He stood. "Mr Kinsely, setup a briefing in the Observation Lounge whenever everything is ready. I'll be in my Ready Room. You have the bridge." He said as he started heading towards his Ready Room.
Duncan looked towards Jim and gave a nod in return. "Yes, sir.", he replied to him before Jim went into his Ready Room. He would see about setting up a briefing as soon as information started to come in from the different consoles. He have been through many missions and many of them turned out to be pretty rough, but also enlightening. There has not been one single mission that he had not been through where they have been through hell and back.
Before he began to setup the briefing, he looked towards LtJG Grab Foot Of~Two Dawns and LtJG Ganesa Ravious. "As soon as the information comes in from the probe, let me know.", he said to them.

Action
The console started downloading the new and updated information from the probe in the sector.
Current locations of various systems were listed, as well as a summary of a solar system that it is closest, Zeta Raphadon Beta. The probe had been taking close readings of this particular system due to it holding a Class-M Planet hosting a humanoid population.

As soon as Kinsely asked either Lt Ravious or himself to report as soon as the probe's findings come in, he recieved the requested infor mation that he and the rest of us were after. He lifted his head from his scans, as he is also sure Ops and Science recieved the same readings, to report
"Information has just came in, Ssir, from the probe"
His eyes went back to his console when a warning light suddenly chirped to life. He tapped it, then looks back to Kinsely, looking a bit serious. "Sir, I think you should come see this. Sensors are detecting a large asteroid-like object heading for Zeta Rhaphadon Beta 4. Probability of a collision is 99.23%. ETA is 7 days, 16, hrs and 22 minutes. I fear this will cause massive damage to the planet When it collides"
His tail twitched in concern, looking to Kinsely for a response

He had came on board just before the ship had departed and the Quarter Master had showed him to his new Quarters. For some reason things did not work out as he first planned. He had entered his Quarters and all appeared normal and he started to unpack his duffle bag that he had brought with him. He had not reported to anyone, not even his Department Head, Lieutenant Commander Samuel Grant. He had felt that they had known he was on board and would notify him when needed. He understood that just departing sometimes would be slow for a Security Officer and that he might not be needed. All the work of getting settled in, in his new Quarters had made him hungry and had tried to get something to eat from the Replicator but it would only replicate some alien food. Thinking that the Replicator had been reprogrammed for the last crew member in this Quarters he had notified the Quarter Master of the problem, for he was a Security Officer and reprogramming a Replicator was not in his knowledge. Hungry he ate the food anyway but the taste in it was bad and turned his stomach. He had went to Sickbay and one of the Nurses had given him something for it. Time would go by and he still had not heard anything from anyone and the Replicator got reprogrammed to Human food once again. In time he got to know the ship and all the Jefferies Tubes and even got to spend some time in the Holo Deck before he even decided to go to the Bridge. Taken the Turbo Lift to the Bridge his last stop before he could claim he has been every where on the ship. He steps out on to the Bridge and looked around in AHHH knowing now why a Captain can be so protective of his/her Bridge.

Sam continued the work at his console, trying to catch up on some of his reports that had been filed but he had not yet gotten to with all that has been going on. Sam was aware of a new ensign that was supposed to be reporting in before departure, a new security supervisor. Sam was mildly disappointed that he had not checked in with him yet, but was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe something ‘came up’ during departure.
As he continued to work, he heard the turbo lift doors open and saw the young ensign enter onto the bridge. Clearing his throat, Sam walked over to him and introduced himself “Ensign Zabdiel, I presume?” Sam reached out his hand “Lt. Cmdr. Samuel Grant, Chief of Security aboard the Uss Terrasect. I’ll let it go this time, but please check in with me immediately next time; I’m not known for my patience.” He smiled at the young ensign, trying to loosen the tension, as he wasn’t really angry with the delay but he wanted him to know that it wouldn’t be tolerated repeatedly.
“Well Mr. Zabdiel, you’re the new Charlie Shift Supervisor and are responsible for Security over the barracks for the enlisted Security Personnel and Marines, and Security Away Teams/Detachments Delta – Hotel. Your office is the Security Station on the promenade, although the office in the back is mine; please use the stations front desk. Any questions?” said Sam.

Samek was going through the telemetry and information being fed to the Terrasect from the probe, and immediately started programming the computer to run a simulation of the aftermath of the astroid collision. He would save his findings until they were asked for or for the briefing.
