Samek had returned to engineering, immediately going towards the Warp Core. His fingers moved to the console, as he began to align the magnetic constrictors for a Warp Core Startup. Once the magnetic resonance fields were aligned, and began running a simulations on the intermix levels to devise the best way to start up the core.
A large section of the magnetic constrictor sections, as well as the quantum/dilitium articulation frame had been replaced during the refit, as the Terrasect had run into some problems on their trip back... from where ever. The mission had been deemed Classified by Starfleet Intelligence, and Samek had not the access to see the mission details.
"Computer, begin intermix test sequence Alpha 17, scaling to ascertain the most efficent mixture for Warp Core Startup Sequence, Unified Core." He then changed to a separate console, and brought up another screen, starting a Level 1 Diagnostic on all core internal environmental systems and sensors, to ensure everything was working as it should be.
He then noticed a slight anomely in one of the Computer Cores. "Computer, reinitialize Computer Core C, then run a full systematic diagnostic of the core memory and processing capabilities."
A warning went off, there and on the bridge as well. "Computer Core Checksum Diagnostic Initialzied. Non-Vital Computer Requests may be delayed while in diagnostic mode." The same warning appeared at the top of all consoles throughout the ship.

Sam straightened himself up, tugged on his tunic, and with a wave of the hand towards the turbo lift " Of course; after you." As he followed Captain Harsting inside the Turbo Lift. " Quite the diverse crew, I hear we got a lot of 'grade A' shipmates this time around, looks like it'll be an interesting voyage..." Sam paused in statement " Hopefully not as 'interesting' as some of the other 'trips around the cosmos' we've seen over the last few tours..." Jim smirked ever so slightly at Sam's mentioning the other trips around the cosmos. He then nodded. "Who knows what's out there.". He then thought for a moment. He then spoke. "Deck 3, Promenade." The computer chirped, and seemed to process the information a few seconds longer than usual, but then started off to Deck 3. "I'm looking forward to the science aspect of this mission. While on our way, we're going to be scanning 12 different systems that have class M worlds that have only been seen by unmanned probes. We'll actually be able to completely map those systems as we slipstream by the systems."

She was checking the shield modifications and the weapon's inventory when the warning light came on. Her ears flicked back in surprise and for a moment she thought she might have accidently armed a torpedo and it was about to fire. Her eyes darted over to the sensor display to see why the warning light was blinking and discovered the point of origin was in engineering.
She taped the inter-ship comm "Bridge to Engineering, Lt Tail Kinker To~Eeiauo calling.. Is everything alright down there?"
She paused, waiting for a response

Ganesa was checking through the ship's sensor systems. The sensor systems seemed to be in excellant shape. As her fingers continued to go across the console, a warning went off on her console. She tapped on it and noticed that it was only alerting them of a dianostic mode. Something in the computer core that was slightly off that the engineer had found.
"Engineering may have found something and began to run a dianostic mode.", she commented.
Her fingers continued to go across the console. She always enjoyed multi-tasking job and being at operations was one of those multi-tasked jobs.

Sam too noticed the delay in ‘request and response’ but shrugged it off, nothing major to worry about now so it passed out of his mind almost as quickly as it entered. “Or who…” Sam adds, shrugging his shoulders as he comments.
He takes in what the Captain says, and responds “Although science isn’t my ‘cup of coffee’, it’s still important. It’ll give me time to run some tests and ‘shake downs’ regarding Ship Security and Tactical; so it’ll have its advantages.” Thinking, he continued “The advantages of Slipstream are extraordinary though; allowing so much more to be seen. That and these new sensor upgrades which will allow us to take accurate records ‘on the fly’ is quite the bonus.”

Jim nodded. "Yeah, in subspace, there is no ionizing radiation to block out sensor systems. As long as we can focus on the surface of the domain, we're able to see gravimetric shifts, naturally occuring subspace fields in stars, and other vessels." He seemed rather excited as he stepped out onto Deck 3, glancing about as many engineers were about, one on a gravi-lift about 4 meters up near the sky light, adjusting a force field emitter there.

I am currently running a diagnostic on Computer Core C, which is utilizing majority of the system resources. I am also running simulations and diagnostics on the Warp Core and startup procedures. There will be a slight delay in non-vital computer requests for approximately seven hours and twelve minutes."He returned to what he was doing, awaiting her reply.

Tailkinker heard the comment that the new Operations officer made: "Engineering may have found something and began to run a dianostic mode."
She was about to comment when she heard the Chief Engineer respond to her inquiry. She blinked and looked a bit thoughtful. She never seen a warning light come on just for diagnostic mode
"I see" She would respond back to the Chief. She was no engineer and barely understood what was said. What she did understand is that nothing was wrong "Bridge Out"
She cut the connection to Engineering that voice her thoughts to the Operations officer
"I never seen a warning light come on just for a diagnostic test. I suppose what the old human saying is true ""You learn something new everyday""
Her tail spiraled in humor

Ganesa gave a board smile as she heard her comment. Nearly gave a chuckle before she responded, but did not. She understood that humans have a great deal of old sayings which all have a lot of truth behind them. Of course, humans weren't the only ones that have old sayings.
"Most old sayings are true.", she replied to him.
Ganesa continued to look at the sensors, kept in mind about the dianostic mode that the computer was currently in.

On Starbase 2-3-4, Eelennia had gathered her belongings and stood on the Transporter pad. She waits till the Transporter chief to begin energizing. In the next few seconds she found her self on board the Terrasect, in their Transporter room 2. Back when she was given this assignment she thoroughly studied the ships deck by deck. She wanted to feel prepared and to show her captain that she was the right woman to be their ship’s consular. She steps off the pad and lifts her belongings. She then walked strait out and went out of the room. From what she had remembered that if she walked out of the Transporter room. Her office should be right around the corner, in quarters 2-0-0-3. She walked down the corridor and saw the door room of ‘2003.’ Thinking out loud she said ‘Here you are.’ Eele walks in and places her bags on ether side of the entrance.
Looking around she found the room’s lighting to be bright. She asked the computer to lower them to an almost dim level. Walking further in she closes the door be hind her. She wanted to be sure that they were close before she pulls over her hood. She was dressed in a long brown coat that had a hood and her hands were covered with dark brown gloves. As her hood fell back her very light hair falls over her shoulders. In the poor lit room to dark, her eyes almost glowed. She thinks some more out loud, ’this will be a challenge. How will I have this crew trust me when I don’t even want them to see me? For now I will reorder this room and settle in. after I must meet with the Chief Medical Officer and the command staff.’
She started to move the furniture around by pushing and pulling on them. After a while she then altered the lighting in the room for special areas that it can be normal levels to here and there and places for safe levels for her. As the lights hurts her eyes and may blind her. Also her skin will have some sort of allergic reaction if exposed. Eele settled up the room to have a spotlight in the center, right a head of the entrance of the door. Also in the middle a chair or chaise longue of some kind. Around it a crescent like sofa, so she is able to position her self around the patient. Giving a heavy sight she followed it with a content smile. ‘Now I believe that I am ready to meet my first patient the chief medical in command.’ Leaving her office slash quarters she heads to Sick-Bay on deck 17. Before exiting the room, she makes sure that her clothing covers her body. Eele pulls her hair back and draws her hood over her head. Now she is ready to leave. Walks out and around the corridor to a T.L. Ones within it she asked the computer to led her to deck 17 to Sick-Bay.
After a while she stood there thinking of way to introduce her self. The T.L. lets her out right in front of Sick-Bay. She tugs at her attire and then walks out and in to Sick-Bay. Eelennia looks around for the C.M.O. and couldn’t find him or her. She stood in the middle of Sic-Bay looking her strangely in her hooded clothes. ‘Where may I might find the Chief Medical Officer? I am Consular Covous. Eelennia Covous.’ She looked at a nurse and it seemed that she found Eele to be out of place. More so that she has sense that the nurse was a bit afraid of her. She slowly moved towards the nurse and placed her hand on her shoulder. ‘Don’t be scared I am sensitive to the lightings of this room. Could you please redirect me to a Doctor or the Chief?’ After she had touched the young nurse her fears disappeared. Eelennia has a neat ability to calm people around her by a touch and her reassuring tone.

Just before turning away a man enters Sic-Bay. He was a man that she never seen before. Eele made sure that she wasn’t gawking at Buford Hound. Another nurse came forward and notified that Chief Medical MacAuley is busy at the moment. Eele nods her head and told Fong, ‘I will return later. Please have any crewmembers that need to see me to report to Deck 2 at room 2-0-0-3. If I am not there please have them contact me on comm.’ She gave another nod and began to walk out of Sick-Bay. On her way out she pass by another alien that she never seen before. Saia was a larger individual and made Eele think to modify the office a bit for her.
They’re where many things that she needed to do. One was to report to the captain but she knew that there were requirements of his officers for duty. A psychological examination required to be preformed by her. This appointment will help Eele to connect with her patients. Help them with any emotional stress in the profession that they under go. Anything spoken between them is kept just that between her self and the crewmen. There will be time when she may need to report some information but it will be done in a proper manner. Eelennia believed that the patient must express them selves and not to be exposed. To help the patient to feel comfortable of whom they are to them self and the rest of the ship.
She made her way back to her office to fix the center seating area for Saia. Whenever she decides to grace her presents for an appointment. Eele walked in and pulled off her hood. She stood in front of the center chair and thought of ways to fix it. She found a solution and made it proper for any large crewmen to small. She then sheds her brown coat and gloves. She changes her attire to a more pleasing nature. Having looks always being important for the beginning for every trust relationship. Even if the inside matters more but new faces always judges by the exterior. She makes notes of all the personal that needs to see her. She puts on an altered uniform that is more pleasant to the eyes, rather a stiff uniform. She wanted to make the patient feel relaxed and not feels to be sent to detention.
Eele hopped that the crewmen of the Terrasect would come willing to her. She didn’t want to have to hunt them down one by one. If that was needed she will. It is very important that all minds are not so much cleared for duty but a relationship is made between her self and they. She sat on her sofa in the dark reading over the files of all crewmen. She started her reading on the first person she came to see, the Chief Medical Officer, Colina Fiona MacAuley. Eele knows that this one will be difficult to get a chance to talk to. As she observed that she id very determined and busy woman. Clearly a build up of stress will occur and would need to be released properly. Next she reads on Ganesa Ravious an El Aurian, a very long-lived race perhaps longer then Vulcans. This one will be looking through a mirror, as she is a listener. She will be an interesting person to get to know.
Her eyes set on the Captain, James Archimedes Harsting. This was a long and more challenging person to connect with. Eele decides to place this one last just before she meets with Colina Fiona MacAuley. Next was the person that had inspired her to fix her office for. To consider or to look beyond humanoid too more complex life forms. Saia will me another individual that will be challenging. An insect race that honestly she had never heard of before. Also didn’t know that the Federation had members of. Eele thought to speak to this one as more of, as insects they are very sociable. Unless she’s the kind of insect that are solitary then she may have more of a challenge on her hands. Eele places the padd down and walks over to the replicator. She asks for a drink and returns to her sofa. She picks up another padd and this fellow was Samuel Joshua Grant. She reads on and found that he has lost someone. Same with James Harsting, both will be difficult to get them to open up. This Grant she thought, ‘Classified.’ Giving a curious note she moves on to the next.
‘Ah, the man that she has saw walking in toe Sick-Bay before Saia.’ She moves Grants padd down from be hind Buford Hound’s. Another one that will be sociable by nature and he will be a pleasant person to talk to. There where a few others that she read trough. She waited for anyone to come through her doors, as she was quite curious to meet them.

What she did understand is that nothing was wrong "Bridge Out"Before Samek was cut off, he responded. "Under normal operations, the warning would not be present. However, to expedite our departure and ensure computer integrity, I increased the testing speed, which will slow down the computer. Under normal operating environments, this test would take 32 hours at minimum. In order to not delay our launch, all available computer resources have been devoted to this diagnostic test. If you have any questions, I shall be here in engineering."

She heard the closing comments from the Chief Engineer before she acknowledged him and then closed the channel. Her comm badge chirped and she tapped it to answer it To her chagrin, it was a summons to sickbay to get a physical. Her response was not pleasant
"I do not have time for a physical" She told the nurse that contacted her "I feel in top physical and mental condition. I have never felt better. Now let me get back to my duties and stop trying to pull my tail down there"
She tapped her comm badge again, cutting the nurse off in mid response. Her whiskers twitched in irritation as she focused back to her console

She tapped on her com badge and created a link to TailKinker. "TailKinker, this is Doctor MacAuley. You have an appointment in sick bay. If you are not here in exactly 25 mins I shall send a report stating, you are not cleared for duty and have refused to come to sick bay for said examination. It is now your choice. MacAuley out."

A few minutes later, she heard from the doctor herself. Right off the bat, her fur bristles, hearing her only use part of her name. She grumbled and fumed to herself, thinking ~ What is it about humans and using short names? Are their memories too short or they just too lazy? ~
she then tapped her badge, with her tail lashing, intentionally using her full name "Lt Tailkinker To~Eeiauo to Doctor MacAuley. First Thing to learn about Sivaoans is to use thir full name when speaking to them, unless given permission to use another variation. I assume you've never met a Sivaoan before?" She spoke as if she was correcting a child that had made a mistake, then her tone grew more serious
"Secondly, As I have told your nurse, I am in top physical health and I do not need a doctor to tell me that which I already know. Now, I would like to get back to my duties before the time comes before she deaprt. I shall let you get back to your own duties"
She then tapped her badge, closing the channel
