t'Stellam was automatically notified by her console that three security checkpoints had all simultaneously gone offline. She contacted the Dheno (Security) team at each post and received the same answer each time. Communications were offline, the reason was as yet undetermined. She nodded to herself as she heard Tactical's report. It may have been the indirect result of the damage caused by the debris. A few minutes later, she was again notified that the checkpoints were back online. She ordered a full diagnostic, just to be certain.

"Acknowledged Reaper. Standby for additional instructions."
Liordra reopened communications with the Federation ship. She knew they could hear them even if they were unable to respond through normal channels.
"This is the RSE Dhivael to unidentified Federation vessel. Do you require assistance? Acknowledge by flashing navigational lights once for yes or twice for no."

Post by Arrian Vrih Hwersuil on Dec 21, 2007 23:18:51 GMT -5
Arrain Vrih Hwersuil held down engineering long after they exited from the solor storm. He looked over engineering reports as they came to him. Vrih decided that the internal damages in the cargo hold, including the two consoles and the anti gravital platform, is more important to repair than the minor damages to the exterior. Just as he rerouted the power away from the two consoles in the cargo hold via engineering, Vrih heard Erien Gonaiih'Saehne ( Ensign Helm Officer ) reported to him about a navigational array problem.
+T+"Hann'yyo, Erien." (Thank you, Ensign.), he replied back to him. He quickly tapped on his console to work on the navigational array problem, rerouted some power to fix the problelm. Soon there after, the problem was fixed. He sent a reply that the problem was fixed. Then he picked up his tool kit, told one of his engineers to come with him and went to go fix the cargo hold.
Moments later, he arrived at the front of the doors to the cargo hold 26. Before he went inside, he placed his tools down and opened a side panel. Took one of his engineering tools and began to make the necessary repairs for the gravital padd. He wanted to make sure that the gravitional padd was fixed before he entered or else he would be flooting in the cargo hold. Once he made the repairs, the gravitional padd was repaired
Vrih opened the doors, went inside the cargo hold and towards the two consoles that needed repair. He began to work on the first console, took a panel off and began to work out the damages. Vrih told the other engineer work on the second console.

T'meryl worked at the science station as the scans started to clear up. "Riov, I have the data on the storm and will run the analysis. I still cannot get an identification on the Federation ship, but will keep trying."

Before she was able to get out of the fighter, she received a message.
"Remain where you are. If you attempt to leave the fighter we will fire. Repeat, remain where you are."
The trio continued to advance to the fighter. She wasn't able to see who they were, she was instructed to leave the cockpit and face the fighter. She did as instructed, knowing at this point it was useless to do anything else. One of the trio took a hypo spray and gave her a sedative. Within seconds another one caught her as she fell unconscious.

"Any thing from Ice yet?"

"Neither Ice nor Sahen have reported in, Riov."
Her tone was flat. If Sahen had managed somehow to find Ice they would all know as soon as they exited the anomaly. He should have at least been directed to report in regularly or to return within a certain time if he was not successful. She felt the possibility was strong that they would soon have two officers missing.

It was clear to her if not anyone else, a simple testing of the ship and crew became far too complex to be only a test. It would seem the Elements had a hand in this.
She wondered what happened to Ice and then Sahen. But no matter how much she played with the communications link on her console she could not hear anything from them. As the minutes ticked by her level of anxiety grew.

She was surprised at the turn of events. A Federation ship in a Rihannsu restricted area, their fighter pilot missing, the shuttle now quite. The rising stress levels of the crew, added to mixture a new second officer. The executive officer now missing.
She opened a program on her diplomatic link to the her personal console. It was time to check into this further. Too many unknowns in too short of a time span.

After what seems like several hours of searching, he was no closer to finding the human pilot Ice then when he entered the anomoly. He was really beginning to get irritated, having to listen to nothing but static. Trying to take his mind off the static, he thought of using the shuttle's sensors to map out and catch any information they can on the anomoly
He glanced down at the navigational sensors and almsot had to look again at the readings "This is not possible" , he muttered to himself, then tapped a couple keys to confirm his readings. The sensors gave him the same readings: He was back at the same coordinates where he entered the anomoly to begin his search!
Shaking his head, he decided to abort the mission and face what penalty the Riov was sure to place upn him at his failure. It was better then him losing his mind listening to all the monotonous static hour upon hour on end
Tapping a key, he turned the shuttle to starboard and exited the anomoly, finding himself on the port side of the Dhivael. He immediately opened a channel to report in
"Shuttlecraft Dhivael to RSE Dhivael. Mission is a failure. I am unable to find "Ice" within the anomoly. I have theories as to what may have happened. 1. She piloted out beyond the anomly. 2. She has ran out of fuel and is drifting or 3. She has been killed. Reqest further intructions"
He tried to hide the disappoinment of a failed mission out of his voice

"Request further instructions"
Consider yourself very fortunate that you made it back alive after such a foolish endeavour. It was on the tip of her tongue but she did not voice it.
"Acknowledged erei'Arrain. Return to the ship."
If they had had the time and the opportunity, they might have been able to study the anomaly and learn how to navigate it but the Federation ship was still their top priority. No response from Ice, from the probe or from the ship. She considered if perhaps there might be a link between them.

She woke up several hours later in a darkened cell. She checked already knowing the answer and she was not disappointed. Her comm badge was missing. She sat on the bed, looking forward not saying a word.
She was never taken prisoner before and mentally went over the protocols. She had a feeling before leaving the Dhivael that something was gonna go bad. And when it went south it did and fast.
"Well, Tiffany your extraordinary luck has run out."
A mechanical male voice she was told to be silent.

"Acknowledged erei'Arrain. Return to the ship." he heard over the intercom and recognized the voice of Second Officer t'Takar. He though he also recognized a disappointed note in her voice and he thought who could blame her. He responded with "Le, enri'riov. returning to the ship"
He tapped a couple keys and piloted the shuttle around and into the shuttle bay in the aft section of the Dhivael. Once inside, he landed the shuttle onto the deck with a soft thud, then began shut down procedures. Once those were completed, he left the shuttle to return to the bridge
He entered the bridge and was heading over to t'Takar's position, when he saw the Riov sitting in the center seat. He stopped and pivoted, giving a salute to the Riov then standing AA in front of him
"Request permission to return to my normal dutuies, Leih?"
His face was expressionless as he waited for his response

He looked at him.
"I need your report and not 3 hypothesis of what might have happened. In your judgment, what is the most likely scenario?"
He stared at him waiting for his answer.
