"Rhuissa!" (Excellent)
Liordra was cautiously optimistic. After so many of their attempts had been met with resistance or even outright stonewalled, she hoped they might finally regain some control over their situation.
"Continue the scans and we will see if she gives up some of her secrets."

"le lhhei, tactical scans running."
She paid close attention to the scans as the data stream starting to come in. While the scans were more efficient, it was still very difficult to see anything. Tapping on her com, "Engineering is there anyway we can boost the scans, even a small amount will be helpful."

As he was watching to see if he would recieve any new information from the probe launched, he heard the bridge chatter, and watched as Tactical fired a couple bursts from the disruptors to clear up some of the radiation and sensor interferance
He glanced back to his sensors, seeing their was a 0.13 variance from the norm. He reported this to Sub Commmander t'Takar and then called down to Engineering
"Gonai to Etrehafwe'saehne ( Helm to Chief Engineer ) Navigations senors are off by a micro fraction, a 0.13 variance. Please look into this and report back if this can be repared"
He paused waiting for a response

The silence from the Federation ship was unnerving. It was normally their practice in such a situation to call for assistance. And until and unless they do so they couldn't offer assistance. The rules of the facility was explicit on such matters, due to the security measures.
She accessed another area of her diplomatic files this was for simulations. She was unsure if they could handle one this complex. It would be an excellent test however. She keyed in the parameters of the ex cerise. She was then informed that for a full analysis it would take 15 mins. While she waited her mind wandered for a few minutes. However, she remained alert.
She thought back to the last year of her diplomatic training when they would be presented with a situation. Most where more then slightly difficult. One such exercise reminded her of the present one. A ship entering our space, close to a secure area, silent, appearing to be disabled. But it was there similarities ended. This one she surmised would not be as difficult. The Federation desired the alliance as much as we did.
It was based on common needs at the moment. The Dominion war left all sides in various states of disarray. At first the Empire was not effected as badly as the Federation or Klingon's. Until, the Remans rose up in a failed attempt to take over the Empire. A civil war ensued following that attempt. That, for the Empire, necessitated the need for the alliance. Time was need for everyone to rebuild, re-establish, restore etc, to a new level of normalcy.
All wars created vast changes in its wake. Most never released the full extent of those changes as quickly as the governments involved. For most individals they felt the loss of loved ones, structures, and other areas that made life pleasent, before seeing the more extensive ramifications. And some never saw it. It was here in her musing that, her console alerted her to the completion of the simulations.
She began to go over them. The best tool of a diplomat was to have all, or most of the facts present before its needed.

Vrih was working on the ship's sysetms and tried to correct them quickly and correctly as possible. He send some repair crew on several decks. He heard erei'Arrain Veralen Sahen about boosting the scans. "Yes, of course I will.", he responded to her. His fingers quickly went across the console as he finds some power that could help boost the scans. Rerouted the small amount to the scans. "Power to the scans have been boosted.", he replied to her. "I hope it helps."
Vrih then heard erei'Arrain Terrh Sahen abouta problem with the navigations. He checked into the problem and found that there was slight delay in the system that caused the navigational sensors to be off. His fingers quickly move across the console and quickly fixed the problem.
"There was a slight delay in the sensors and I was able to realigned the problem. It should be repaired.", he replied to him.

The disruptor blast was slightly successful in syphoning off the excess radiation, and a better interior scan was now possible.
The four nacelled vessel was fitted with a skeleton crew, it would seem by the lifesigns the sensors would read, or else they took heavy casulaties. Oddly, there didn't seem to be any life signs coming from the bridge or exterior decks, the majority of the lifesigns were concentrated in engineering.
Upon further examination of the sensor readings, it would be apparent that the vessel had underwent much damage, however, it's hull integrity was maintained. It seemed like the bulk of the power consumption the ship was using was currently holding some force fields into place, including one that was keeping the bridge from being open to space.
As far as tactical systems, the targetting sensors of the vessel seemed to be damaged or otherwise inoperable, and the shields mainly skin tight, especially around engineering, only maintaining itself at approximately 3% of capacity.
The damaged nacelle seemed to be almost mending itself though, and a large energy drain seemed to be coming from that general area.
The vessels subspace signal array was completely inoperable, and the only identification that might be seen (as the hull was blackened by what might have been enemy fire or some type of radiation discharge) was a "NX 712---".
The quantum particle discharge readings were more focused from engineering, though it would be hard to get any detailed information from that area due to it's heavy shielding.

"Le lhhei, scans now coming in from interior. There are very few life signs, either they started with very small crew or they have had a large amount of casualties. No life signs on the bridge, most showing in engineering. The quantum particle discharge are primarily coming from that area." T'meryl refined the scans, trying to see if she could compensate for the heavy shielding blocking some on the readings from engineering. "Heavy damage, but hull integrity intact. Most of the hull is blackened and there is no subspace signal array. There is a partial identification: NX 712. The rest is obscured." T'meryl's fingers stopped their dance over the science station. She placed her elbows on the station and propped her chin on her thumbs, with her templed fingers covering her lips. Her eyes watched the data coming across her board. After a moment of concentration, she resumed her normal posture.

As soon as she heard the scans were picking up more she asked Sahen for an image from her tactical scans. Calling up a sub program. She zoomed in on the area of the registry number. It read NX 712.
NX was the Federation prefix for all new classes of ships. As for the number itself there was little clue to be found. She then accessed another file. This one held all the new vessels they knew about. As she went down the list of the NX numbers there were 2 with 712. She read the Intel they had on them.
"Erie'Arrian Sahen, please send me clearer images as you get them. T'meryl, estimate how many crew the ship carried, and if there were any civilians on it."

NX? So this was a prototype ship.
This information supported her theory that it might have been an internal breech and not the result of battle. With the damage to their bridge and shield capacity so low, she could guess why no one was on the bridge. Efforts would be concentrated on engineering and containing the plasma. The speed at which these repairs were being made however was astonishing. Perhaps the engines themselves were experimental. With their signal array inoperable, communications might also be and this could explain their silence, however they were still not allowed to offer assistance unless it was first requested.
"Hail the ship and request identification, then inform the Testing Facility of the circumstances."
Without directly requesting it, they could leave it to the discretion of the Facility to decide whether or not they should break with protocol and offer aid.

"le lhhei." Since Taev was still busy finishing working on the communications array. She patched in and began to hail the vessel.
"Federation ship, this is the Rihannsu vessel Dhivael. You have entered into Rihannsu space in a secured area. You need to identify yourself. Repeat, identify yourself." She waited for a response.

The sensors of the vessel would detect that the vessel was recieving the communication, however, they were unable to reply. Less than a minute later, the marker lights flashed once as if trying to alert them that they were recieving the communique.
There was a small explosion of air from one of the port shuttle bays decompressing, a radiation fire going out as it happened. The ship was in fairly bad shape, however, power was slowly being restored to various systems, it would be apparent...

As the new sensor readings came in she read them carefully. She knew this was not part of the test. It did not bear the signature of the testing facility as she came to know it.
After two minutes she repeated the hail. "lhhei, the new sensor readings indicate that they are receiving our hail. Ihhei, they have flashed their marker lights, it is a tactic I would use to let the other one know I have received the hail and can't answer."
A moment later Veralen reported, "Ihhei, senors indicate that there was a radiation fire in the port shuttle bay area. Senors further indicate, the fire is exhausted and repairs continue on the ship with power is being slowly restored."
As she gave her report the Leih entered the oria, she came to attention. "Riov on deck"
