Cordais had remained silent the majority of the briefing. She'd listened to each officer and found each one's opinion and speculation valid. She particularly understood the difficult position Major Aniri had been placed in. She desired to maintain her own as well as the aliens' honor as warriors. Cordais understood the complexity of personal honor. It was at times a difficult thing to maintain and to shoulder the responsibility of.
"Colonel?" Cordais waited for acknowledgment and then continued.
"If I understand you correctly, your main concern and the pivotal point of your decision is the possibility of this temporal rift causing some sort of anomaly in our own time. While it is possible that the rift as a phenomenon itself may cause certain effects in this space, the temporal aspect should not be a factor in your decision. While I can not provide you with all the facts supporting what I know, you are at no risk from a causal temporal tide. Of greater concern would be those things which may be unique to our respective universes, such as bacteria. Our exposure to one another poses the greatest risk, what we may have been exposed to as well as what they may carry back with them. The longer they are here, the greater the risk becomes."

He looked at Cordais,"Very good point LT. we will have to check into that.Use whatever resources you need including the Doctor."
"Lt. Kinsley gather up all the alien technology we have and have it beamed back to their ship."
His gaze went back to Jim and Jay waiting to hear his response. He had learned enough about Jay to tell she was furious at the situation unfolding. Her word was that of other warrior races. It was meant to stand firm.

She began to show signs of waking up. For the first time since the battle began she opened her eyes slightly and looked around. Then closing them she lost consciouness again but this time not as deeply.

" Of course Rogue I only showed you the evaluations so you could maybe find a few you would like to watch in particular."
Chuckling as he saw her face when she tasted the tea."I am sorry to say yes you are.We can get Engineering to help make it taste the way it should."
"Sorry I laughed but your face looked like a cadet who could not handle a flight simulator."

When considering his response there was a plethora of words that came to mind, and biting his lip was growing increasingly difficult. He knew the promotion would change things, but adapting was proving more difficult than he initially thought it would be. He rose to his feet with his hands behind his back, his eyes locked onto the Major. “You may return your duties Major, and discuss whatever you see fit with our guests. Just make sure we get those sensor logs.”

She stood and uncustomary looked him in his eyes while he spoke. Her antenna still laying flat on her head. "Yes Sir" She walked out her eyes not leaving his until she was abreast of him then remained straight ahead. She reached the TL and decided to go to her quarters first she needed to do something and perhaps that would calm her. If not someone or something would be feel the force of her growing rage. She entered her quarters and heard the pramhar's cry. She walked to the cage and they instinctively hid as they sensed her rage. She took a handful of fat grass and put it in the cage along with some water. "Be still, one more sound and I will make sure you no make no further noise." They ran and hid in a shelter they had. She went into her sleeping area took out her mat and knelled on it. Holding her chaka, she closed her eyes as she began the chant to Emasha Yul, for a place of calmness and guidance. As she finished her chant her fingers ran over the blade and missed a smooth pass on the last raised area and her blue blood spilled onto the mat. She stood then walked out the door to the brig her antenna's in a normal position the Chaka was on her belt. She made her way to the brig, entering she looked at the guard. "Dismissed I will call you when I need you."

"There's really no need to apologize Joker, and don't worry about the replicators. Ever since my first deep-space assignment I've kept a data clip dedicated to my favourite cuisine. I'll upload it later."
A light chuckle slipped through her lips as she recalled her first flight. "You know, if you think that expression was funny you should've been there for my first time in the hot seat."
"It was during the Occupation, and we didn't have the luxury of a simulator. Hell, with very few exceptions we didn't even have the luxury of good mechanics. The worst part was that the cockpit was at least a meter too small for me, and I was only fifteen at the time."
"So there I was, flying a sub-impulse fighter that I would later discover had only two working thrusters. I tell you, that first jolt nearly did me in."
"I made a critical mistake, I really thought it couldn't get worse. Of course that's when I went to fire the aft thrusters to halt my advance. Nothing happened."
"The next three minutes seemed like days, and then I realized that the only way to maneuver the thing was with the engines. It was the roughest ride you could possibly imagine."
"Took weeks for me to try it again. Fortunately, the prophets ensured that the second run went much smoother, and the rest, as they say, is history."
"Within a few months I was leading the attack runs. During the last twelve years of the occupation I learned quite a few things they don't teach in the academy. Who knows, maybe I can even teach you a thing or two."

She looked at them and sighed deeply.
"Computer I want a visual and audio record of what will happen."
"I need you both to listen to me. What I'm gonna say disturbs me greatly more then you know. But." looks away for a moment. "We all in the military. We understand orders, conformity, duty and obedience. At times we must go against what we know is right. I am at such a junction."
"I gave you my word on the strength of a warrior that I would help you to return to your world. I have done that. But."
She paced while they watched her.
"It would seem I have lost my argument. And you will not find your way home. I know what this means to you. And it pains me greatly."

Both looked at her stunned at first then their eyes narrowed.
Kerth responded,"Blue skin you told us we would go home your Colonel came and we both spoke the truth why then are we not going home?
A look of sadness and fury in his eyes."WE TOLD EVERYTHING WE MUST DEFEND OUR HOME DID YOU SAY SUCH THINGS TO US TO TRICK US AND STEAL OUR SHIP?FROM MY POINT OF VIEW THAT IS WHAT I SEE DO YOU AGREE?"

"Kerth, if I stood where you stand now I would say the same and probably worse. No, it would be worse. Far worse."
"It is said each to their own by countless races. And there is something we feel that lets us know when there is a kinship. It is that feeling of kinship that caused me to treat you with greater respect, and kindness then I would have used otherwise. We do have a kinship, I verified this by looking at our medical records.
Your race is "ghelnoid", like my own. I have always believed as does the rest of my world, even Star Fleet that Andorians are the only ghelnoids. I will on returning to my world tell of the ghelnoids I meet, of your greatness, strength, and that you are warriors. It is good to know we are not alone in the universe. For that, I thank you both."
"C'tent, I want you to know I speak the truth. Never did I believe this would be the outcome. C'tent, I now must ask you a question." she sighed deeply and looked at the floor.
OOC: research has shown that Andorians evolved from a rudimentary life form, classified as ghel. On Andora only the very hardiest of life forms could exist. Andorians consider themselves a higher ghelnoid, just as humans consider themselves a higher primate.

His expression softened as she spoke of ghelnoids and how she would tell her people she had met them and how they were warriors.
"Ask then Blue skin now I know we will live forever in memories as warriors."

"This grieves me, if you are like my own, I already know the outcome of my question. I ask you to release your sensor readings to me. I will then give them to my superiors."
"If you don't an away team will be sent to retrieve them. I strongly suggest you surrender them. C'tent what purpose is there in not complying. It will only cause greater pain and hostility?"

Justin continued to listen to further discussion from different ones that were there. Personally, he agrees with Lt t'fveik. No telling what all they have gotten by now. "Lt. Kinsley gather up all the alien technology we have and have it beamed back to their ship." Justin looked back over to Colonel Allen and gave a nod. "Yes, sir. Permission to be dismissed.", he would say to him.

He started chuckling then roared with laughter.
"Tell them if they come aboard our ship we will fight and even if they win we have a fail safe that will cause a warp core breach in one minute if any area of our computer is accessed. The contaminant field will drop and it will be a spectacular explosion indeed."

"C'tent this does not surprise me. What is the access code to over ride that?" Her antenna's had drooped the moment this conversation started and now they drooped so much they took on the apperance of being wilted
