She watched as the troops followed her orders and quickly resupplied and reorganized.
Checking her own equipment she fought off the temptation to call up the Doc and check on Major Iverson.She had a job to do and that is what the major would want.

Security had taken back control of the ship but not with out a heavy price. Red had just told Vash that 18 were dead from security, Vash was standing over Silks body. She kneel down by his head and ran her hand over his eye's to close them. Good bye my friend... She said in a soft tone.

Kyah goes to a console in engineering. The enhanced shields were holding and it seems that there was a lull in the battle. There was roughly 25 minutes of power left on the first "battery", so if the battle dragged too long, she would be forced to use a second weapon. Even though she had been ordered to save one for study, she would use the third one to enhance the shields if necessary. What good is having a powerful weapon to study if you're dead?
She then gets the courage to read the list of casualties. She sees the numbers of dead and scans the list of names, a knot of cold fear in her stomach, hoping that Thomas isn't one of them. The list isn't complete, she realizes. She taps her commbadge, +T+ Thomas Kinsely> "Honey? Are you there? Are you ok? I'm worried sick." She prays for a response.

Cordais followed Justin in silence until they reached the Bridge, then stood behind him as he rang the Ready Room's chime. It wasn't over yet but it seemed they had reached a lull in the storm or was it the calm at the eye?
They entered, she stood at attention and gratefully noted the Chief Engineer's inclusive pronouncement that they were "Reporting as ordered, sir".

The flood of injured was finally slowing down and she and Kasia had taken care of most of them.The EMH while annoying was very good.
She checked Major Iverson's vitals they were stable a good sign."Listen Major I know deep down you can hear me.Just rest until your body is ready to wake up.The rumor is once this is over your son is coming he is going to need his Mommy."
She smiled and went back to other patients.

He offered the replicator with a wave of his hand if anyone wanted something to drink.It had been and was still a tense situation and he wanted them to relax if just a little.
His eyes fixed on Jim and Jay.

Walks up to Lt. Conner his bandannas soaked in blood, he sense she is worried about the Major but says nothing
"Ma'am PVT. Yancey really wanted to be and engineer perhaps he could be moved to the Marine Engineer Division" He says
"He's going to ask you but what kind of team leader would I be if I didn't inform you" he say

Justin would go out ease and would walk over to the table. Sat down in the chair and would begin to listen to what Major Aniri and the others may have to say. He was quite curious what information that they may have. Hopefully whatever information that they have will help everyone.

Thomas had just finished regrouping his marines when he heard Kyah over his commbadge. He would tap on his badge. "I'm fine, hun. Everything will be okay. Are you okay up there?", he would ask her. Glad to hear her voice. Her voice and her smile, along with the boys, are the only thing that can settle his mind.

She hears his voice and breathes a sigh of relief, realizing that she had been holding her breath until that moment. +T+ Thomas Kinsely> "Oh thank God you're allright. The nursery didn't take any damage, the boys are fine. I'm fine other than being worried about you, but I should get back to work. Go take care of the boys as soon as you get a chance, please."
She had been keeping an eye on the shields as she talks. She makes an adjustment to the frequency that she was using to keep them confused.

She looked at PVT Greathouse,"Make the transfer I will take care of the paperwork later."
She slapped a new charge into her compression rifle.The scene around her was not good but when was a battle scene ever good?
It was not like the Holovids,these were real people wounded and dead.Memories unlike at the end of a movie did not go away.They stayed with you until you died.

His gaze momentarily shifted to the Colonel, and then came to rest on Winter as she took the seat next to him. “Lieutenant, it seems that those responsible for the Vulcan Station’s destruction came here by way of a temporal rift. In your opinion, could this be the result of one of the experiments the station was conducting?”

"I sure will. I promise.", he would say to her.
Thomas would make sure that he would check on the boys as soon as he was able to get away. Him and his team already finished regrouping and he would go up to Lt Conner. He was still holding his infantry rifle in one hand and the alien's weapon in the other hand.
"My team has finished regrouping, Ma'am. Permission to take my team to sickbay. Sickbay might need extra marines.", he would say to Lt Conner.
