Thomas heard the doors opened and looked over to see Sgt Kol’rah walking into the Marine Armory. He just finished checking his weapon, armor, and marine devices in his locker.

“Morning, Sgt. I already checked my gear and ready for inspection.”, he said as he stepped aside incase he wanted to inspect.

He was curious of what orders Lt Conner has for them to do, but eventually would know what it is. He would only have to wait and find out. Thomas was more cheerful than usual and he has a very good reason why he should be. He has a very good reason to be cheerful. He and Kyah just had a small wedding with family recently. In addition, he found out that they would become parents soon.

While she's waiting for the meeting to start, she gets nauseous again. She's forced to go find the nearest restroom.

She comes back to the ready room a few minutes later and takes her chair again, hoping she didn't miss anything. She noticed a few people had yet to show up, so she knew they were still waiting for them. She wonders what Thomas is up to as she waits for the meeting to start.

Kasia looks concerned as Kyah rushes out of the room. When she returns a few minutes later the meeting still hadn't started. Kaz goes to sit next to her friend waiting for the meeting to start as well.

"Are you feeling all right? I may not have a med kit on me, but I can tell when someone isn't feeling well." She whispers so as not to draw attention to themselves.

Zarlena looked at the time and then looked to see where her relief was. A few minutes later Lt Michaels come over.

"Your late. Maintain the present course and speed. Nothing to report."

She logged off getting up and then walked into the Ready Room. She smiled at Lt Roberts and then nodded at everyone else. Taking a seat she put her padd in front of her.

She whispers back to Kasia with a smile. "It's just morning sickness. Thomas and I already visited sickbay and talked to Dr. Romberger. She advised me to wait it out a little longer and make a few diet changes to see if that helped before I tried any meds."

She saw Zarlena enter and hopes that no one else is coming so they can start the meeting. She was anxious to see what they were going to do for their first official mission that wasn't just training.

Kasia smiled. "congratulations, I had no idea." She nodds listening to what Kyah had to say. "And Dr. Romberg is right, its best to try non medical alternatives before using meds to control pregnancy morning sickness." She begins to tap on her padd nervously. "I hope they begin this meeting soon."

Kyah grins "Thanks... and I hope something helps. So far anything I've tried hasn't worked for long, if at all. I hope the meeting starts soon, too. I want to find out what new things we get to see next."

She handed over the security station to another officer, then she walked in the ready room then headed to where the Major was and stood behind her. She touched her on the shoulder to let her know she was there.She wondered what was going on.

She looked at the gathered officers. Her antennae curved in to the assembled group. She stood up to get their attention.

"As you know we were on our way to our home star base. FMar Jenina Weslynes sent a communication diverting us to Proxminus IV, we are now heading there. The conditions on Proxminus IV are very harsh. There is a barely tolerable atmosphere, along with wild swings in temperature. These swings in temperature range from 88 degrees Celsius to -10 at night."

She waited a few minutes to allow this to settle in, while she sipped her water. She then turned on the view screen to display what the plant looks like from space.

"The mining facility is large and the colony consist of the miners, and their families. The living area is contained under a dome to reduce stress factors. Both these area's are separated by 9 meters (30 feet)."

"The second facility I told you about is the research facility. Its located 48.3 kilometers (50 miles) from the mining facility . This also has a domed area where the research scientist and their families live. Again the facility and the domed area is the same as the mining set up."

"Are their questions or comments at this time?"

He heard the call for all senior officers to the captain's ready room and he tapped his console for a relief officer. When he does come, he makes his way to the ready room and slips in just as Major Aniri stood up and started briefiing the senior officers. He listened attentively

Kyah listens to Major Aniri and she nods in understanding. She pulls out a PADD and makes a few notes and writes down some reminders. She looks at the Major when she asks for questions. "No ma'am, no questions at the moment." She writes a note on the PADD to do some research on the planet and maybe get a probe ready if they needed more information.

Securing his station, Maec enters the briefing room and takes a seat.

What is the current situation at Proxminus IV Ma'am? Hoping to herself that it was nothing serous, because she has not had any time to train with her team except for the drill they had when she first came aboard.

Justin slowly sat back in his chair as he listened to what Major Aniria said. He perked an eyebrow in a familiar way. He was curious of how come they were going there.

" I have some questions, Ma'am. What kind of problems are they running into and what is each of our duties?", he would ask her.

Justin kept his eyes peeled at the structure of the facitily and his ears open of what further instructions there are.
