She took a seat by herself and just observed how the humans interacted. She thought to her self it is always good to know the ways of the enemy. She took a drink of her hholaer.(coffee)

Vrih game a small smile as he lets her take his arm and walks her over to a table. He would wait until she had sat down before sitting down himself. He did find it quite pleasing to have someone to chat with, especially someone whom he could strike up a friendship with.
“Veralen, when was the last time you have been in Ra'tleihfi?”, he would say to her, taking a napkin and placing it over his lap.
He, of course, would not mind telling her about Avretrel, where he was born on Romulus and other bits of information about himself.

Ael had watched the most of them walk over to the dinner table. She decided to proceed over to the table and would find a few empty chairs next to Shiarrael Tei.
"Do you mind if I sit here?", she would ask Shiarrael, gesturing to an empty chair that was right next to her.

She looked up at her and nodded to Ael Hheinia and smiled.
"Not at all, please have a seat."

Ael returns the nod and would sit down in the chair. She have over heard someone mentioning Ra'tleihfi. Gave a smirk, knowing that her father is there. Although she was born in Hlarek, she did spend some time there when her father became a Senator.
She looks back over at Shiarrael. "I am Errein'Arrain Ael Hheinia, Etrehafwe'saehne (CENG) on board USS New York.", she would introduce herself to her.

he took a seat next to Zandile, then hearing her give her full name and post on the other Rhiannsu vessel. A brow raised in surprise as he looked to her
"Chief Of Security. That is a commendable position for one so.. attractive. I am sure your mate must worry about you. I am Erie'Arrain ( Lt Jg ) Terrh Sahen. I am the Gonaih'saehne, the Helm Officer for my vessel. I find it an honor to meet you, Security Chief Baccus"
He gave her a rare but friendly smile that reached his eyes, and he waited for her response

She nods to Terrh and blushes to be called attractive. She didn't think she was attractive anymore... her eyes were dark and sad, she rarely smiled and she didn't care about her appearance past how she had to look to go on duty. Her eyes go sad again when he mentions her mate being worried. "If he's still alive, I don't think he's worried about me. It was him leaving that made me security chief... he must be dead or I would have heard from him."
She shakes her head slightly, as if to 'reset' her state of mind. "I'm sorry... this is supposed to be a party... Um... how do you like serving on such an impressive ship? It must be a great honor to get posted here." She tries to smile, but finds it difficult.

Dan'lia sat sipping her juice and watching the Riovs. "This may sound just a bit disrespectful, but someone may have to mention to those two that they are in a room full of people and food in in front of them. What do you think, Taev?" She was enjoying his company more than she expected. He smiles back at Dan'lia and chuckles, "It does appear that the last thing on their minds right now is food. It will be interesting to see what happens."
"I am glad you have enjoyed the tour so far. If you would like we can continue after dinner." He looks at her and thinks how very attractive she looks this evening.

(OCC Sorry for the delay, life caught up with me this week. Back to normal)
Sitting down beside her he looks at her and nods. "Yes we did have plans together. I think both of us realized we wanted to be together, but we knew serving in the Galea was paramount to each of us. We had so much time and energy invested. It was and still is our life. It took all I had to look you in the eyes and tell you we needed to part for a while. I knew we would need our minds clear to achieve our potential in the fleet. I had planned to come back to you and then all broke loose with the war and things just continued to spiral down."Looking around the room he sees everyone getting seated. "Excuse me a second , Eviess"Standing he looks out upon the assembled officers and crew and says. "May I have you attention please. I want to welcome our guests from the USS New York and invite them to feel free to tour the ship with one of my officers after the meal. Our chef has prepared a feast of fine Rihannsu cuisine. Enjoy and may the Elements guide you all."
He waits and sees everyone sit and continues "The meal shall begin."
Sitting back down he reaches for her hand holding it lightly and says, "I'm am very happy at this moment Eviess, very happy"

She took a drink of her coffe as she waited for her reply.

Ael would take a sip of her drink, giving a nod towards Shiarrael Tei. Not for sure what the question will be, but willing to listen and answer it in all honesty.
"Of course you may. What do you have on your mind?", she would say, placing her glass down on the table.

He saw the look and felt the air of sadness around her. He was curious and his curiousity was satisfied when she mentioned her mate was missing and presumed dead. He wished suddenly that he could find a way to take the sadness from her and put a smile back on her lips and in her eyes more often but then that thought was purged from his mind quickly, thinking it was none of his concern. His smile faded from his lips, but not his eyes
"I am sorry to hear that your mate has left and is presumed dead." I am sure someone will come soon to catch your eye and your heart once again."
He caught the slight shake of her head, as if to clear her mind of such sad thoughts, he gave a nod
"Yes, it is indeed a party and a great honor to serve aboard the Dhivael. I will protect the ship and her crew with my life. I am sure it is an equal honor to serve aboard your vessel with an equally lovely and impressive Riov" He said that as a statement knowing it would be a great honor to serve on either ship, to protect the ship and to protect their officers

"Having my heart captured is of little concern to me. I have my job, and you are right, it is an honor to serve. I have given up much in service to Starfleet, my own life is all I have left to give. It is an honor to serve Starfleet, wherever they send me or whatever captain commands me, with my life if necessary." This time she smiles at him. Serving well and honorably was all she had left, and she enjoyed her job, even though the thought that the office she used had once belonged to her husband saddened her on occasion.
She had heard his captain's announcement a few minutes ago. She had placed her napkin on her lap, but was ignoring the food. "Perhaps after the dinner is over, you could give me a tour of your ship? I have never had the opportunity before. I am interested in how security teams can effeciently patrol a ship of a design such as this. There must be a method to the madness." As the New York gained more and more Romulan crewmembers, she had to retrain them from the methods they used on Romulan ships. She couldn't really make sense of their methods, though, and patrols often got confused.

T'meryl seated herself with her crewmates. She tasted the ghleten (soup) and lydiar (salad). "I suppose that I have been remiss on being out with the rest of the crew,"she says. "But it did seem logical to give some of the crew a few days to get used to the idea of a Vulcan on board. It was a shock to a few of them to encounter me in the corridors." She ate slowly.

Dan'lia smiled at Taev, "I would enjoy seeing the rest of the ship. You seem to know quite a bit about it, have you served of one before?" She took another bite of lydiar (salad). She found that she was enjoying his company. Tonight, he seemed relaxed in a way that he did not on the ship.
