t'Stellam had no doubt that Kor meant what she had said. She would have said and done the same thing had the circumstances been reversed. To her however, the emphasis was on where those loyalties were should there be a conflict between the two, not on where they were while everything ran smoothly. She would not hesitate a moment to kill either Kor or Claness if either of them fought in opposition to her. What would happen to this precious Alliance Fleet in the event of war if all it's officers reverted to fighting for their own worlds instead of the Federation?

Again a very faint enhancement of the previous subtle change was felt. Her antennas moved as if searching for the cause of it, then returned to the former position they were in. Her eyes instinctively went into a downcast position for a few seconds, then she looked once again directly into the Riov's eyes.

Noticing Kor's eyes go into a downcast, H'daen has seen her do this several times, and wonders if she is lacking confidence being around the Rihannsu-a or if it's just something the Andorians do naturally.
When it comes to trust She must earn his trust as he is certain he must earn her trust, H'daen knows he has a lot to learn about the Andorians and in time hopes to learn as much as he can.

"Very well. Erein-a tr'Kaytor and t'Stellam you are dismissed to return to duty. I would have a word with our Andorian officers before I release them. Dismissed"

She heard him dismiss the Rihannsu officers but not them. This aroused her curiosity. Why would he have a word with them? Well, soon she would know.
She was uncomfortable the heat on this vessel was worse then the Federation shuttle. But all in all, it was ten days since she was in a suitable environ. She controlled the urge to wet her lips, and though force of will she would not allow herself to show this level of discomfort.
Looking at him she waited.

He looks at his lodge mate and his antenna turn and focus in confusion. He has listened to the proceedings and though he realizes he has shown agitation Riov Cretak should know that an Andorian even being on his vessel indicates that they have already made their own oath to serve.
He glances again at Captain Kor and sees an officer from the Imperial Guard still entrenched in honor and ceremony. Maybe it was his years with the marines fighting side by side with so many other races that made him feel oaths meant nothing but actions did.
As he hears the Riov dismiss the Rihannsu he refocuses on the commander.

After the Leih dismisses them he salutes the Leih then nods and acknowledges the room then leaves.
as he exites the ch'Leih nnihehv rhe/hnahfvier he enters the Oria, he walks past the crew and enters the turbo Lift "Fighter Bay" he says.

She was looking straight ahead but none-the-less picked up on the nod of his head. Her antenna gently curved inward in his direction in response to his nod.

He watches his officers leave and turns to the Andorians. "The reason I asked you both to stay is to discuss a few matters. First of all Sgt. I realize you feel you need not take an oath to this ship or the Empire as a warrior in you culture. I also understand that this assignment came rather suddenly for you. However your government and mine felt that it was essential that two of you should be assigned in order to balance you lodge, I believe that is the word I was told. You will be held accountable as you would be on any other assignment with the Alliance fleet."
He watches Claness's antenna for any sign of anger or agitation as he continues, "As for the second reason I have requested you to remain. I know little of your world except what I have studied in the computer banks. Most of the information is dealing with tactics and warfare. I want both of you to take time with me to instruct me in the ways of your people. I admire your race and would learn more about you. There will be times during off shifts that I would have you attend and discuss freely both our ways. I trust this will be suitable to you also."
"Now are there any questions or comments before I dismiss you?"

His antenna's begin to move quickly, then lash and lay back, flat on his flat on his head before returning to thier normal position. Anger begins to build as he listens to the Rihannsu commander talk about oaths and duty. How dare Cretak, infer that an Andorian would behave any differently words or no words. As the Riov continues though it slowly dawns on him that what Cretak is really saying is that it does not matter what the action or words are, it is a matter that he knows that Andorians have a sense of honor and was willing to accept his silence in oath. He then hears the words about teaching his commander their ways. Nodding to himself her concurs. His antenna start to relax and realizes that this would be an interesting assignment. "I have no questions commander, save one. How do you wish to be addressed. I also am willing to take the challenge to help you understand our people better and look forward to learning more. I have fought side by side Rihannsu and have never found them to be without honor."

She felt the anger, from the corner of her eye she noted the antenna movements. She understood him, but different races saw the question of honor differently. It was one of the things she came to realize while in various assignments in the Imperial Guard.
Imaru looked at the Riov. And waited for him to answer Thalev, then she would salute him before leaving. She needed to cool off and drink something. At this moment, she wished she built the resistance to heat for longer periods of time. Thalev had she could tell. But in no way will she admit to her need or show it. She is not weak, nor has she ever been so. This assignment will make sure she builds the endurance level.
Their natural endurance to heat was due to the fact they were higher ghelnoids. But ten days was a long time. She was fairing well enough since temperatures never rose about 90 degrees F. So it was possible for her to last a couple of days longer. But tonight she would replace the moisture she needed.

"On board a Rihannsu vessel you may address me as Riov or leih (commander). I have no further need of you at present. Return to your duty stations."
Turning he heads back to his chair and starts going over 'sailing' orders.

After being dismissed as abruptly as they were she saluted, turned then walked out. Knowing that Claness would be following she hesitated slightly to allow him to catch up.
They spoke briefly in an Andorian dialect not known by many and even fewer universal translators, while walking to the Turbo lift. She pressed the button and waited for it to arrive. She looked at Claness, "It was interesting was it not?" This was spoken in standard Fed, as Kor called it.

"It begins," he thinks to himself as the last officer leaves his nniehv rhe (ready room).
Turning on his terminal he starts reviewing the preparation to leave the docking ring and proceed to the training grounds. Noting the tactical officer's report on the 15% variance at that station causes him to raise his eyebrow. This was not acceptable, especially since the Dhivael had under gone a major diagnostic up grade before being assigned to the alliance fleet. He would send a communique' to the lieh (commander) of the upgrade facility requesting an investigation of the work done while they were there. He did not want anymore system 'variances' to crop up, especially since they were about to enter a simulation that would determine whether the Dhivael was fit to start her patrol.
After finishing his inquiry and transmitting it to the operation officer to transmit he sees he has an incoming message. He smiles inside when he sees it is from the New York and as he reads the note from Eviess he mentally makes a note to answer when he got off alpha shift.
Still no information on a first officer concerned him a bit. He would of course be able to fulfill his mission, but he would have liked to have had an executive officer to evaluate in the up coming drill.
Standing he faces the back bulk head and activates a spot on the wall with his palm. An seamless opening appears with his personal 'alter' for meditation purposes. After a few inner thoughts on success of the mission he says "Kholairlh-a deleth mnevher (Elements protect us)." Turning he strides to his door and it swishes back. He strides confidently out onto the Oira.
